About Us

Dowling Livestock & Property commenced business in Cloncurry in January of 1996. Dowling Livestock & Property clientele extends from Cloncurry to the Gulf of Queensland to Jericho, Longreach, Winton, Camooweal and out to Daly Waters, Katherine and Top Springs in the Northern Territory. The Business works closely with clients in the Feedlot industry on a full time basis servicing a client owned feedlot, along with the supplying of export cattle out of the Darwin and Karumba ports built on exporter relationships.

The past 14 years Dowling Livestock & Property has developed on industry experience and knowledge for the benefit of the clientele.

PETER DOWLING - DIRECTOR

Peter has been with both Landmark and Elders through the 1980’s to early 1990’s, working as a stock salesman in Mackay, Winton and Longreach and a Manager in Biloela, Mackay and Hughenden.

Peter has had 25 years in the Stock & Station agency industry as well as being brought up in the industry with his father and uncle both Stock & Station agents.

His private agency career started in Cloncurry and continued until 2000 before spending 2 years with Live Export for Wallco, moving to Northern Territory in 2001.

Returning from the Northern Territory at the end of 2001 to continue with the Private Agency once again on a full time basis.

Taryn was bought up on her parent's Grain & Cattle property at Dulacca, approx 100km east of Roma.

She has approx 4 years experience with Stock & Station Agents & has worked on Cattle Stations in the West Kimberley & Qld Gulf as a Jillaroo & Bookkeeper. Taryn has lived in the Cloncurry region since 2007.
